Pahlavi High School, which has come to be known as Imam High School, is the oldest school in Boroujerd and was built in 1936 during the reign of the founder of the Pahlavi Dynasty Reza Shah (1878-1944).

This two-story structure has been built over a 14,000-square-meter area and is a combination of European and Persian architecture. The main structure is shaped like the letter H and has a balcony with 12 pillars that opens to a large courtyard. The school has an amphitheater, cafeteria, laboratory and a sports field. The school was registered as a National Heritage Site in 1998.
