Azarbaijan Museum is one of the most important museums in Iran, which was opened in 1962. Aside from the National Museum of Iran in Tehran, this museum has the biggest collection of pre-Islamic artifacts in the country. The museum has three galleries, the first one showcases pre-Islamic artifacts and remains, the second gallery showcases Islamic finds along with coins and seals and the third gallery houses sculptors.
