Located in the Hassanpour Mansion, the Handicrafts Museum of Arak opened in 2004. The museum has five different displays including a Calligraphy and Manuscripts display featuring calligraphy and illuminated manuscript works by Arak artists, a Pottery, Glassware and Ceramics display, a Handwoven Carpets and Kilim display, a Metalwork Display featuring embossed metal works, and a Woodwork and Textiles display featuring monabbat and mo’arraq creations as well as the traditional costumes of Markazi Province.
