The Handicrafts Museum of Ardabil is located in the Sheikh Bathhouse of Ardabil and is part of the Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili historical complex. This museum opened in 2008 and consists of a beautiful Hashti (vestibule), pillared dressing room, two Shahneshins (alcoves) and a large dome. The museum showcases the handicrafts of Ardabil Province and holds workshops with the purpose of maintaining and reviving the handicrafts of the province. The museum currently has a pottery, Mo’arraq (embossed woodwork), Qalamzani (embossed metalwork), precious and semi-precious stones and Pyrography workshops.
