This bridge is a 17th century Safavid structure located east of Sanandaj city built over the Qeshlaq River. The then Vassal of Kurdistan Soleiman Khan Ardalan built this 78-meter-long and 3-meter-wide bridge upon the order of Shah Safi (1611 –1642). The bridge was renovated during the Qajar era (1785–1925).
