Imamzadeh Ali bin Jafar dubbed ‘Door to Heaven’ is a mausoleum built in memory of one of the sons of the sixth Shia Imam, Jafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq (702-765 CE), in the eastern part of the city of Qom.

This octagonal structure has a conical dome. The stucco relief decorations of this mausoleum resemble the Alavian Dome of Hamadan. The tile decorations of this mausoleum feature man, animal, and floral motifs. Inscriptions are in Naskh script and feature Quranic verses, poems, and hadith.

Additions were made to this 13th century structure during the Qajar era (1785–1925).
