Resket Tower in Dodangeh District dates back to the 11th century. With its conical dome, this cylindrical tower is believed to have been built near the impact site of a meteorite and is the tomb of Bavandid (651–1349) royal. This tower is 18 meters high and nearly 15 meters wide at its base. The tower has Kufic and Sassanid inscriptions as well as unique moqarnas decorations below its dome.
